RNS Project

The RNS Project:

To go further

The Observation

Having observed during consultations, stays/hospitalizations in psychiatry, and psychotherapy sessions the amplification of certain symptoms caused by loneliness, we have implemented a protocol designed to bring together certain patients followed by psychiatrists or psychologists. This protocol encourages the exchange of their feelings and reactions around a chosen theme, for example, 'from loneliness to isolation' or 'is it my fault that I am alone?' The aim is to explore various experiences in order to identify the main points of fracture, whether they are emotional, professional, or social. Most often, the notion of a 'depressive episode' is present.

Our Approach

The common issue shared by participants allows them to deepen their reflection, which has already been extensively explored in their journey. RNS will work on research and study projects focused on the causes and consequences of loneliness and will offer materials and resources to better understand the topic of loneliness. RNS will also run awareness workshops and training sessions on the theme of loneliness. The RNS team is composed of a network of doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, and social and community actors, all driven by the desire to reduce isolation.
